🎯 What are Advanced Filters?

Advanced Filters allow you to analyze player performance through specific metrics like:

  • Player Specific: Minutes, USG% (Usage Rate), FGA and more

  • Opponnent Ranking: Opp DefRtg (Opponents Defensive Rating) or Opp D-Rank vs Position (Opponents Allowed Points to players of same Position) and more

πŸ”΅ What does the Blue Line show?

The blue line tracks the selected metric across every game shown on the graph. This lets you compare the player's performance in that stat alongside their point line and actual scoring, helping you:

  • Spot patterns and outliers

  • Identify correlations (e.g., tougher defense = lower scoring)

  • Validate trends with real context

πŸ“Œ Example

You select USG% from the Advanced Filters.
A blue line appears on the graph, showing how much usage the player had in each game.

You can now visually compare usage rate vs actual scoring β€” and decide whether it's a factor worth digging deeper into.

πŸ“Š Comparing averages (graph AVG vs season AVG)

Below the graph, you’ll find two key insights:

  • AVG – The average value of the selected stat for just the games currently shown (based on your filters)

  • SEASON AVG – The full-season average of that stat for the player

Use these two numbers to assess whether a player has been trending above or below their season norms under specific conditions.

πŸ–±οΈ How can I see exact numbers?

Simply hover over any game while a filter is selected. The stat value will appear, highlighted in blue, giving you an exact data point for that game.

πŸ’‘ Why it’s useful

  • Helps you identify statistical triggers behind over/under outcomes

  • Adds an extra layer of analysis beyond just points, rebounds, or assists

  • Empowers you to make smarter prop picks with contextual evidence
