If you received a reminder that your subscription would renew on a specific date (e.g., April 3rd) but noticed the charge went through on the day before (e.g., April 2nd), you're not alone — and there’s a simple reason behind it:

🌍 Time zone differences

PropsMadness processes all billing and subscription renewals based on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Depending on your local time zone, the charge may appear to happen slightly earlier or later than the date shown in the reminder email.

For example:

  • If you’re in the U.S. and your renewal is scheduled for April 3rd (UTC), it may be late evening on April 2nd in your local time.

📩 Why we use UTC

Using a universal time zone ensures that renewal processes are consistent and reliable across all users, regardless of location - especially important for global platforms like PropsMadness.

✅ What you can expect

  • Your reminder will still be sent 3 days before the renewal in UTC

  • Your subscription always runs for the full billing period (monthly or yearly) from the moment of renewal

  • No time is lost, even if the renewal happens slightly “earlier” in your local time

If you have questions about your billing date or see something that looks off, feel free to message us through chat — we’re happy to check it for you.
