A quick walkthrough to get you analyzing player props in minutes.

Step 1: Pick a League

Use the league tabs at the top of the page to switch between NBA, NFL, and WNBA. The app defaults to NBA.

Step 2: Find a Player

The left sidebar (or bottom panel on mobile) shows today's games and available players. You can:

  • Browse by game - scroll through matchups and tap any player

  • Search by name - use the search bar to find a specific player

Step 3: Read the Dashboard

Once you select a player, you'll see:

  • Odds Badge - the current line and Over/Under pricing from your selected sportsbook. Click it to compare odds across books. This can also be customised by selecting up to 10 favourite books among 35 available.

  • Hit Rate - how often the player has gone over the current line (or line shown across the graph)

  • Graph - historical results game by game with averages across points, assists, rebounds, 3PM and more. Averages update based on your filters - you'll see how filtered games compare to the full dataset.

  • Prop Tabs - switch between markets (Points, Assists, Rebounds, 3PM and more)

Step 4: Apply Filters

This is where PropsMadness gets powerful. Use filters to narrow the data:

  • Last N Games - focus on recent form

  • Home/Away - see how location affects performance

  • Teammates - check how the player performs with or without specific teammates

  • Advanced Filters - overlay stats like Usage Rate, Minutes, or Opponent Defensive Ranking directly on the graph (the blue line)

The graph and averages update instantly as you filter.

Step 5: Go Deeper

Scroll below the graph for more analysis:

  • Play Types - how the player scores (isolation, pick & roll, catch & shoot, etc.)

  • Shot Zones - where on the court they score from

  • Similar Players - how players with comparable styles performed against this same opponent

  • Injury Report - who's in, who's out, and how it affects performance

Step 6: Compare Odds

Click the odds badge on any player to see lines and pricing from every supported sportsbook. Find the best number before you place anything.
